Together, we can build a better world. Job Description The Journeyman Carpenter is responsible for constructing and maintaining buildings. Required knowledge includes: construction and remodeling trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control and safety. The Journeyman Carpenter must be proficient at the following tasks: hanging doors, drilling and setting door hardware, setting windows, layout for stairs and common rafters, formwork, and reading blueprints. The carpenter must also possess the mathematical and analytical skills necessary to do materials estimates. The Journeyman Carpenter is responsible for the construction and maintenance of buildings, including tasks such as hanging doors, setting windows, and formwork. They must also perform material estimates and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and cost control standards.

Candidates must be a ticketed Journeyperson Carpenter with experience working for a large general contractor. Proficiency in blueprint reading and concrete work is preferred, along with a valid driver's license.
