We are looking for a Driver Recruiter / Safety Coordinator to join our Calgary team. This role is ideal for a transportation professional who enjoys building relationships, recruiting top driving talent, and supporting onboarding, training, and safety initiatives. Working closely with Operations, Dispatch, Safety, and Compliance teams, you will play a key role in attracting, onboarding, and retaining professional drivers who contribute to the success of our growing organization. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruitment for Class 1 drivers and owner-operators across Canada and the U.S. Source, screen, interview, and onboard qualified driver candidates. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of drivers through referrals, networking, job boards, and industry outreach. Coordinate driver orientation, onboarding, and training programs. Ensure driver qualifications, licensing, and documentation meet company and regulatory requirements. Support safety and compliance initiatives, including driver coaching, training, and performance improvement efforts. Assist with incident investigations and corrective action plans as required. Partner with Operations, Dispatch, Safety, and Compliance teams to promote driver engagement, retention, and operational excellence. What We're Looking For Experience recruiting drivers within the trucking, transportation, or logistics industry. Strong understanding of driver hiring, onboarding, and retention practices. Knowledge of transportation compliance, Hours of Service (HOS), and driver documentation requirements. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Experience recruiting owner-operators, cross-border, or Class 1 drivers is a strong asset.
