We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our Calgary office. Immediate Start Full time - Long Term Opportunity Responsibilities Perform regular yard checks and report any issues or concerns Move and organize trailers and equipment around the yard as required Assist with trailer and reefer washing/cleaning Perform reefer unit fuel-ups and basic checks Help keep the yard clean, organized, and safe Perform winter yard cleanup, including snow removal and general housekeeping as required Assist with loading, unloading, moving, or organizing equipment and materials Complete various miscellaneous small jobs and general maintenance tasks around the yard as assigned Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment Operate shunt truck to move trailers within the yard Report any issues or damages to trailers Must be able to able to lift 50 pounds Requirements Valid driver's license is required Previous experience working in a trucking yard, transportation, warehouse, or similar environment is an asset Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions, including winter Reliable, punctual, and responsible Good physical condition and able to perform hands-on work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good attention to detail and a positive attitude Willingness to learn and take on different tasks as required
