About Us CHEK ABC is a Christian Home Education and On-Line school with students across BC. Our central office is located in beautiful Nelson. Position Overview We are looking for a passionate Educational Assistant to work with elementary students in Port Coquitlam BC, in a home education context. This position is in person for 6 hours per week . Rate per hour: $23 to $29 Preferred Qualifications & Experience ✔ Experience supporting children or youth in educational, behavioural, or support settings ✔ Experience working with neurodiverse students, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, is considered an asset ✔ Strong communication and interpersonal skills ✔ Ability to work independently and collaboratively with families and support teams ✔ Valid Criminal Record Check suitable for working with children/vulnerable persons, as required What We Offer ✨ Meaningful one-to-one student support opportunities ✨ Flexible part-time positions ✨ Supportive and professional work environment ✨ Opportunity to positively impact students’ educational experiences CHEK ABC is committed to creating an inclusive and respectful environment for all applicants and students.
