Job Description Position: Tanker Driver (Active Vacancy) Primary Location: Thorold, ON Shift: Full-time - 40 hours per week Reports to: Regional Driver Manager Compensation: $30/hr. Tanker Driver Specific Perks Home Every Night Top-of-the-line, company-maintained equipment Newer Trucks and Trailers Culture of Safety and Inclusion Free Uniforms and PPE Dedicated Dispatch Paid Orientation Support for Professional Licenses Roadside Assistance Fleet Card Program In This Role, You Will: Load, transfer, and unload raw product from a tanker truck Transport and unload chemicals into customers’ tanks safely and with the required paperwork Safely handle hoses during loading and unloading Perform pre and post-trip inspections Comply with all Company, Customer Federal, State, and Local laws, rules and regulations Become familiar with plant operating procedures Other duties as assigned A Successful Candidate Has: Minimum two (2) years of recent tractor/tanker experience Minimum one (1) year of recent tanker experience Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License, CDL Class A, with appropriate hazmat and tanker endorsements A clean driving record for the past three (3) years Be physically qualified to drive a motor vehicle and provide a valid medical card Be able to provide proof of experience or training to operate the type of motor vehicle used by Chemtrade safely Specific Role Responsibilities Other Duties as assigned Physical Occupational Requirements Employee must frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
