Job Description The Junior Processing Operator PM supports efficient and safe production line operations. This role is responsible for setting up and operating processing lines, supervising small teams when required, and ensuring compliance with standardized processes and food safety regulations. By applying Lean principles and maintaining strong documentation practices, the Junior Processing Operator helps drive production efficiency, minimize waste, and support daily and weekly production targets while upholding Chudleigh’s quality and safety standards. Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Hours (PM): 2:15PM – 11:30PM (flexibility as needed), Monday - Friday, Weekends as needed Work Location: Onsite (Milton, ON) Hourly Rate: $19.19 What You’ll be Doing Coordinate materials and team members with Shift Leader to meet production start times. Support teamwork and alignment cross-functionally with Processing, QA, Maintenance, and Production teams. Follow company policies and safety standards. Set up and operate processing lines safely and efficiently. Demonstrate full knowledge of a sideline setup. Perform basic troubleshooting and escalate issues when required. Ensure compliance with BRC/GFSI standards, HACCP, GMP, and OHSA. Maintain accurate documentation and production records. Support training initiatives with temporary workers as required. Identify and resolve operational issues; support Lean initiatives. What We’re Looking For: Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent. 2–3 years of food manufacturing experience preferred. Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and OHSA requirements. Familiarity with GFSI systems (BRC preferred). Strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to safely operate Packaging equipment. Strong problem-solving ability. Basic math skills for production calculations. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Computer literacy for scanning and documentation. Bonus Points if You Have Frozen bakery or dessert manufacturing experience. Lean / Continuous Improvement training. Experience with industrial ovens and baking processes. Knowledge of allergen control procedures.
