Paid-On-Call Firefighters devote their time and energy to the Maple Ridge Fire Department while maintaining their personal and work commitments. Minimum Requirements Information Checklist This information outlines the minimum entrance requirements for the position of Paid-On-Call Firefighter in the Maple Ridge Fire Department. A position of Paid-On-Call Firefighter does not guarantee employment as a Career Firefighter with the Maple Ridge Fire Department. Minimum Requirements You must: Be at least 18 years of age Be legally entitled to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen, holders of a Permanent Resident Card, or Landed Immigrant) Hold a valid Driver's license Reside within Maple Ridge boundaries upon completion of recruit training Have a minimum Grade 12 Completion (or equivalent GED) Information Checklist You must submit with your application: Resume & Cover letter ICBC Driving Record Copy of high school diploma or greater (e.g. college, technical or post-secondary degree) Additional Information If Selected Post Interview Stage Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Check (the original embossed copy will be required if selected) Medical clearance letter. Anticipated Recruitment Timeline Please be advised that you will receive an invitation for each step of the process if you are selected to move forward.
