Join our team and help support the critical work of the Moose Jaw Fire Department through professional, confidential, and efficient administrative leadership. Key Responsibilities-Coordinate payroll, attendance tracking, vacation and leave records.-Assist with departmental budgets, business planning, and financial administration.-Prepare confidential correspondence, reports, and departmental records.-Support administration of policies, procedures, and collective agreements.- Coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes, and records.-Assist with emergency management and social services planning activities.-Review incident reports and maintain departmental records systems.-Coordinate office procurement, travel arrangements, and administrative assets.-Provide customer service and reception support.-Support office security, workplace safety, and other administrative functions.-Participate as a member of the Fire Department Management Team.Qualifications-Diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.-Three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative or office management experience would be and asset.-Experience with payroll, budgeting, records management, and confidential administrative functions.-Municipal, emergency services, or unionized environment experience is considered an asset.-Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.-Strong attention to detail, discretion, and professionalism.-Knowledge of administrative, payroll, purchasing, and records management practices.-Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and collective agreements.-Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's Licence.-Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
