Billing and Revenue Accountant Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Remote Salary: $70,000–$80,000 Industry: B2B SaaS Reports to: Controller About the Opportunity A PE-backed, scale-up B2B SaaS company is hiring a Billing and Revenue Accountant to build scalable, audit-ready billing and revenue processes. Reporting to the Controller in a remote role, you'll work in a fast-paced, AI-first environment with real opportunity to use AI tools to improve accuracy, speed, and insight Key Responsibilities Own key contract-to-cash workflows in NetSuite (OneWorld/ARM), including customer master data, sales orders, and billing schedules Apply ASC 606 revenue recognition (including renewals, amendments, and multi-element arrangements) and manage deferred/complex revenue recognition Perform monthly recurring revenue analysis, journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations, with clear variance commentary and ARR/MRR insights Manage billing, invoicing, order-to-cash processes, and contract review, plus indirect tax compliance Partner cross-functionally with Customer Success, Sales, and Operations to interpret contracts and proactively resolve billing issues Support audit readiness through documentation, internal controls, and clean support files, while identifying opportunities to automate and improve NetSuite/HubSpot data flows What You Bring Minimum 3 years of experience Strong NetSuite proficiency (must-have) and familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce Intermediate Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables) A demonstrated track record of using AI tools to improve accuracy, speed, and insight in accounting work Strong, effective communication skills and the ability to work well cross-functionally A self-starter mindset suited to a dynamic, multi-stakeholder, high-volume environment with systems that aren't yet well integrated Next Steps We do appreciate all interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
