Title: Senior Financial Analyst, Capital Project Finance Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Mississauga, ON (4 days in office) Salary: 130K - 150K salary plus bonus Industry: Infrastructure About the Opportunity Our client is a high-growth, private equity-backed infrastructure company operating across North America and internationally. They develop and deliver large-scale capital projects for some of the world's most prominent brands. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced, entrepreneurial finance team and take meaningful ownership of project-level financial management from development through to construction completion. If you thrive in ambiguity, bring an analytical mindset, and want your work to directly influence multi-billion dollar decisions, this role offers exceptional scope and visibility. Key Responsibilities Serve as the finance lead on large-scale capital projects, building and maintaining financial models that support budgeting, scenario analysis, and decision-making. Analyze construction cost data, identify trends and variances, and present actionable insights to senior leadership and cross-functional project teams. Oversee project debt activities including compliance, drawdowns, and cash flow forecasting. Manage project change control processes and produce clear, timely financial reports and forecasts. Partner closely with business unit teams to build trust-based relationships and drive financial accountability across the project lifecycle. What You Bring 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or project finance, ideally within a capital-intensive, high-growth, or infrastructure environment. CPA designation (or equivalent); MBA or CFA considered a strong asset. Advanced Excel skills (macros, dynamic modelling) and hands-on experience with ERP and FP&A platforms such as NetSuite or Vena. Proven ability to build financial models from the ground up and communicate complex financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders. An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguity, push back constructively, and continuously improve processes and tools — including a comfort with leveraging AI in day-to-day finance workflows.
