Senior .NET Engineer

We are looking for a Senior .NET Engineer to lead the modernization of Health domain platform. You will be responsible for breaking down legacy .NET Framework monolithic applications and migrating them to a high-performance, containerized .NET 8 microservices architecture. If you love deep architectural migrations, optimizing data pipelines, and building resilient distributed systems, this role is for you. The Challenge & What You’ll Do The Big Migration: Rewrite and migrate legacy .NET Framework applications to .NET 8, ensuring high performance, cross-platform compatibility, and modern coding standards. Microservices Evolution: Design, build, and maintain highly scalable microservices, breaking away from monolith architectures. Containerization: Package applications using Docker and orchestrate them within Kubernetes (K8s) environments to ensure seamless scaling and deployment. Data Optimization: Work extensively with PostgreSQL, optimizing complex queries, designing schemas, and managing database state across distributed services. High-Volume Processing: Design and manage robust backend batch jobs and background workers capable of handling large-scale data processing efficiently. What We're Looking For Expert .NET Skills: 8+ years of deep engineering experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem, with proven experience migrating applications from older .NET Framework (4.x) to .NET Core/.NET 8. Architecture & Systems: Strong understanding of Microservices architecture patterns. DevOps & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience containerizing apps with Docker Database Mastery: Heavy experience with PostgreSQL (or similar relational databases), focusing on performance tuning, indexing, and efficient data access patterns (EF Core, Dapper, or raw SQL). Background Processing: Strong background building scheduled tasks, background workers, or batch processing systems Testing & CI/CD: Commitment to writing testable code (XUnit/NUnit) and working with modern CI/CD pipelines. Tech Stack You’ll Touch Languages & Frameworks: C#, .NET 8, ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework 4.x Data & Storage: PostgreSQL, Entity Framework Core / Dapper Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines Background Processing: .NET Background Workers, Hangfire, or equivalent batch tools
