An inclusive workplace culture and environment. About the role Join the Client Relationship Management team, in the Account Manager Multi-unit, Client Relations position. In this role, you will promote CMHC services, including mortgage loan insurance for multi-unit residential properties, while building and maintaining positive business relationships in an assigned portfolio. Travel is required for this role and will vary based on lender needs, particularly within Alberta. What you’ll do: Monitor and collaborate with management to develop and implement regional strategies for homeowner lending clients. Work closely with Client Relations team and management to ensure a seamless and consistent client experience. Design and implement tactical plans based on client needs and volumes, maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers. Deliver targeted presentations and training to improve product knowledge and enhance application quality. Lead strategic discussions with senior clients to identify and implement opportunities and align with CMHC’s business objectives. Monitor and report on industry trends, client strategies, and operational shifts to inform CMHC’s direction. Represent CMHC at industry events and forums to strengthen relationships and promote our multi-unit offerings. What you should have: A university degree in finance, business administration, or marketing. A minimum of five years of experience in the mortgage industry. An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered. An expertise in loan origination, insurance, and mortgage underwriting. Strong skills in financial analysis and credit assessment, especially for multi-unit properties. Proficient in sales techniques and customer relationship management (CRM). Advanced proficiency with presentation tools and computer systems. Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic relationship-building abilities in both official languages. Experienced in training, group facilitation, and delivering professional presentations. It would be great if you also had: A broad knowledge of CMHC's business, mandate and objectives.
