CNC Industries is a leading manufacturer of precision components for the Mining, Construction, Earthmoving, and Oil & Gas industries. We are looking for an experienced Machining Lead to join our Afternoon Shift team and support daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will have extensive experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes, mills, and mill-turn machines. Experience with 5-axis machining is considered an asset. Candidates should have experience with one or more of the following control systems: Fanuc, Siemens, Mazak, Heidenhain, and Weiler. As a Machining Lead, you will provide technical support, leadership, and coaching to a team of Machinists while ensuring production, quality, and safety targets are met. Program, set up, and operate CNC equipment as required. Coordinate daily production activities and prioritize work. Train, mentor, and support team members. Promote a safe, productive, and positive work environment. Troubleshoot machining and production issues. Ensure quality standards and production timelines are achieved. Communicate effectively with Quality, Engineering, and Management teams. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience. Strong programming, setup, and machining skills. Experience with CNC lathes, mills, and mill-turn machines. Leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience is an asset. Journeyperson Machinist certification is an asset. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation.
