What You'll Do As the first point of contact for many clients and business partners, you'll play a key role in ensuring claims are opened, documented, and managed efficiently. Key responsibilities include: Opening new claim files and entering claim information into company systems. Processing multiple claims daily while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Preparing claim acknowledgements and correspondence using approved templates. Maintaining electronic and physical claim files. Managing incoming and outgoing mail, courier shipments, and priority post. Coordinating claim documentation, filing, scanning, and document management. Greeting clients and visitors and maintaining a professional reception area. Managing a multi-line phone system and directing inquiries appropriately. Scheduling after-hours adjusters and supporting telephone system administration. Assisting adjusters and management with administrative and operational support. Ordering office supplies and maintaining office administrative resources. Supporting team projects and contributing to smooth day-to-day operations. What You'll Bring Administrative, insurance, claims support, or reception experience is an asset Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry and document preparation skills Experience managing multiple requests through phone and email Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning new systems and technology Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines Professional communication and customer service skills Ability to follow established processes while working independently A high level of discretion when handling confidential information Why Join Coast Claims?
