Job Title: AEM Architect Key Skills: AEM architecture and enterprise CMS modernization Experience: 10+15+ Years’ experience Location: Calgary, Canada We at Coforge are hiring Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) migration to lead the transition of existing AEM platforms to AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS). The ideal candidate will define the migration strategy, assess readiness, and ensure alignment with Adobe best practices while collaborating with various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Define the end-to-end AEMaaCS migration strategy, roadmap, and target-state architecture. Lead migration readiness assessments across applications, content, assets, integrations, deployment, security, and operations. Utilize Adobe-recommended migration tools to identify readiness gaps, risks, dependencies, and remediation needs. Guide the team on Adobe migration tools such as Cloud Acceleration Manager, Best Practices Analyzer, Content Transfer Tool, and Cloud Manager. Convert readiness findings into a migration backlog, remediation plan, release criteria, and governance model. Provide architectural guidance across code migration, content migration, integrations, DevOps, performance, security, and operational readiness. Ensure migration solutions align with Adobe best practices and the AEMaaCS cloud-native delivery model. Collaborate with client stakeholders, Adobe teams, delivery teams, QA, DevOps, business, and content teams. Required Skills & Experience Strong AEM architecture and enterprise CMS modernization experience. Proven experience in AEM migration, upgrade, modernization, or cloud transformation programs. Good understanding of the AEMaaCS migration lifecycle, readiness assessment, and target-state planning. Experience working with Adobe migration/readiness tools and interpreting tool outputs. Strong understanding of Cloud Manager-based delivery, governance, quality gates, and release readiness. Ability to define migration roadmap, risks, dependencies, remediation approach, and go-live strategy. Strong consulting, stakeholder management, communication, and technical leadership skills. Adobe AEM certification. Preferred Skills: Experience with Adobe Consulting / Adobe engineering collaboration. Exposure to Adobe Analytics, Target, Launch/Tags, Workfront, Dynamic Media, or Adobe I/O. Experience with headless or hybrid AEM architecture. Experience defining operating models and post-migration stabilization approaches. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, specifically in AEM migration projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
