Day To Day Responsbilities: Data Center Technician, you are a primary resolver for your support team, skilled at troubleshooting and resolving most complex hardware infrastructure issues. You create and maintain documentation on technologies you support and are able to effectively passdown knowledge of these technologies to junior staff. You have basic to intermediate system administration skills and, where applicable, are able to take on remote system administration tasks working in a virtual team. You have the ability to automate tasks with scripts when necessary. You work autonomously to resolve most support issues. You are able to execute small projects on your own, and work with your manager in planning and executing larger local projects. You act as the initial escalation point for junior technicians. You understand all aspects of the equipment you support. You know how to innovate and make decisions on his/her own, but also know how to take direction when it is given, paying attention to all details involved. Must Haves: French Bilingual Must have a vehicle Must have reliability clearance or 5+ years in Canada 1 - 3 year (Hardware networking skills/ entry level) Good communication skills (oral and written) Troubleshoot CPU, maintenance on break fix activity, motherboard, hard drive, memory , power shelfs (PSU/ power supplies) maintain, repair, and replace hardware Replace servers Replace parts Troubleshoot error messages Diagnose issues with hardware. Nice To Have: Software - Windows (Linux is a plus) scripting is a plus or prior data center exposure Pay range is $23-$25/hr without benefits. We may use AI-enabled and/or automated tools to support parts of our recruitment process, including application screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communications. These tools are used to enhance consistency and efficiency. All hiring decisions involve human review and are not based solely on automated processing.
