Miller Insurance Brokers is a mid-sized brokerage proudly serving our communities from seven locations across Ontario. Our mission, vision, and values center on integrity, teamwork, and exceptional client service. We are seeking a full-time Insurance Broker to join our team in our Kincardine Office. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative environment. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, processing policy changes, and ensuring superior service delivery in alignment with company values and standards. On top of base salary, this role is also eligible to receive commissions on the book of business that they service. So, What Will You Spend Your Days Doing? Quote and drive new business, following the Miller Insurance new business procedure Provides advice to clients on insurance matters, products and coverages Completes and submits applications with timely follow up to ensure quotations and policies are received, and where possible, accepted Consistently completes and reviews coverage, identifying additional coverage and cross-sale opportunities, with existing clients well in advance of renewal dates, in support of longer-term client retention Prepares summaries of insurance, and related schedules and proposals, ensuring a highly professional client presentation as needed Processes changes with follow up on policy change requests from clients Handles customer inquiries through appropriate communications approaches, aimed at building trust, and ensuring that the customer always feels highly valued Assist clients in submitting first reports of a claim, facilitating a prompt and appropriate response, following up on the claim’s status, and keeping the client informed according to Miller Insurance procedures Determines reasons for requests for cancellations; acts to save accounts Ensures all policies issued are compliant, according to applicable insurer and regulatory requirements, and Miller Insurance procedural guidelines and documented requirements Input, or ensure proper submission for input, accurate file documentation and sufficient notes in the BMS (EPIC), per Miller Insurance standards Comply with all Miller Insurance procedural standards for new business, policy changes and cancellations, reducing errors and omissions risk in the process Manages day-to-day workflow, setting appropriate priorities to deliver the timely and accurate processing of transactions and related responsibilities, in furtherance of delivering excellent customer service Keeps informed regarding industry information, Miller Insurance adopted new product and coverage details, relevant insurance related legislation, and in-use technological applications to continuously improve knowledge and professional performance Qualifications RIBO License or OTL is an asset Minimum 1 year Personal Lines Broker experience, an asset Proven track record servicing an assigned book of business. Remain current and develop expertise in assigned markets, staying open to new market opportunities. Compensation and Benefits We believe in being transparent about compensation. Candidates with extensive, directly relevant experience will typically be hired at or near the midpoint of the salary range. The upper end of the range is generally reserved for team members who consistently demonstrate exceptional performance, make a meaningful impact, and continue to grow within their role. Those who are earlier in their career or building experience may join below the midpoint, with opportunities to progress over time. Your final salary will be based on your experience, skills, qualifications, and the value you bring to the role. Of course, great compensation is about more than salary. Exigences

Candidates should ideally possess a RIBO License or OTL and have at least one year of experience as a Personal Lines Broker. A proven track record of servicing a book of business and strong organizational skills are required.
