Industrial Electrical Plant Technician

Columbia Forest Products is looking for an Industrial Electrical Plant Technician for the Hearst, Ontario, Canada Plywood Plant. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a Provincial certification as an Industrial Electrical Plant Technician from a recognised College of Applied Arts and Technology. Additional consideration will be given to candidates with experience. Candidates with experience in the wood products industry are preferred and that is particularly for candidates with plywood or hardwood plywood experience. The Industrial Electrical Plant Technician will perform maintenance and electrical work at the Hearst plywood plant. They are responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of plant equipment and machinery.

Candidates must hold a Provincial certification as an Industrial Electrical Plant Technician from a recognized College of Applied Arts and Technology. Previous experience in the wood products industry, particularly with plywood, is preferred.
