The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and planning operational logistics, scheduling and dispatching personnel, monitoring shipments, maintaining records, and supporting the safe and efficient movement of freight in a fast-paced trucking environment. Key Responsibilities Compile orders and instructions received from customers Organize tasks to accomplish the work Oversee operational logistics of the organization Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization Maintain work records and logs Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders Keep track of shipments Maintain vehicle operator work records Mandatory Requirements College/CEGEP 3 years to less than 5 years of relevant experience Experience in trucking / transportation operations Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Open for Night Shift Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Must meet company safety requirements, including a criminal record check Computer and Technology Knowledge Dispatch management service software Monitoring and tracking software Electronic scheduler Electronic mail Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment Spreadsheet, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Office Service Experience Trucking Work Conditions Ability to work independently Fast-paced environment Work under pressure Tight deadlines Attention to detail Repetitive tasks Personal Suitability Client focus Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral and written communication Flexibility Organized Reliability Team player Accurate Compensation & Benefits $79,040 annually ($38.00 per hour based on 40 hours per week) Dental plan Disability benefits Health care plan Vision care benefits Group insurance benefits and Life insurance Who Can Apply This position is open to all qualified candidates.
