Location: Canadian Forces Maritime Experimental and Test Ranges (CFMETR)- Nanoose Bay Shifts: Various days, evenings, and overnight shifts Reports to: Site Supervisor Starting Wage: $20/hr - 21.53/hr Job Responsibilities Provide superior customer service to clients and the general public. Provide access control and security foot/mobile patrols as needed. Proactively respond to and resolve emergency situations and conflicts. Complete evacuation and emergency response procedures when necessary. Using mobile phones and basic computer programs. Communicate problems or concerns to the site supervisor. Possess excellent multi-tasking, problem-solving, prioritizing and organizational abilities. Know occupational health and safety regulations – training provided. Perform all duties with high safety standards. Qualifications and Experience Have or be able to obtain a Government of Canada level II (Secret) security clearance Must complete the Commissionaire Security Officer Course. Must be physically fit and able to walk patrols. Must be able to work in a range of weather conditions throughout shift. Must be fluent in the English language - written, verbal and reading skills. Have excellent attention to detail and incident report writing skills. Have excellent problem solving skills with an ability to handle stressful situations in a calm manner. Have the ability to work independently and make sound decisions in varying situations. Have superior customer service skills. Benefits and Perks Free and paid training programs. Exigences

Candidates must be able to obtain a Government of Canada level II (Secret) security clearance and complete the Commissionaire Security Officer Course. Physical fitness and fluency in English are required to perform patrols in various weather conditions.
