The shipwright will lay out reference points and patterns, study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements, and assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures. Additionally, they will weld or bolt sections together and set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines.

Candidates must have a secondary school graduation certificate and 2 to 3 years of relevant experience. The position requires on-site work and involves various metalworking tasks.
