Location: Richmond Hill Key Responsibilities: Configure new and refurbished systems for internal and external customers. Install, test, troubleshoot and diagnose software and hardware related issues. Meet daily production deadlines as assigned by the Configuration Scheduler. Communicate with vendor specific and internal technical support staff to resolve technical issues. Staff are responsible to follow ISO procedures outlined in Compugen’s Quality Management System. Skills & Qualifications: Post-secondary education in Electronics or related Information Technology program. Minimum 2 years PC industry experience which includes but is not limited to refurbishing, setup and imaging experience on desktops, notebooks, printers etc. Excellent troubleshooting skills in relation to PC and Server based hardware. Fast learner; Proactive self-starter. Ability to follow instructions with minimal guidance; able to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. High attention to detail; proven track record of delivering quality work based on precision workmanship. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Experience in sales-oriented environment preferred. Able to lift independently a minimum of 30 lbs.
