The Dorian is two Marriott-branded hotels in one beautiful tower. The upper-portion, the Autograph Collection, blends modern luxury with British whimsy and local flavour, including Calgary’s first 27th floor lobby complete with resto-lounge and rooftop patio. The lower-portion, Courtyard by Marriott, caters to sophisticated urban adventurers and business professionals seeking more for their travel dollars. We are seeking Candidates with the following: * Urban, luxury or lifestyle experience. * Minimum 5 years of Full Service Hotel Experience, with strong skills in F&B. * Ability to manage, drive and lead a team of department heads. * Marriott experience preferred. * Local market knowledge preferred. * Proven track record of revenue and market share improvements/results. * Excellent ability to network in a city through relationships and serving as face of hotel. * Interest in joining a very progressive company. * Proven experience leading teams to success. * Out-of-the box thinking and creativity in providing memorable service to our guests. * Superior profit driving skills and ability to manage a budget and control costs Being a Concord GM: As a Complex General Manager you will be instrumental in hiring, motivating, and rewarding a winning management team, and for supporting our company’s mission statement and embracing our cornerstones.
