Role Description The Director of Clinical Operations is a full-time, on-site role located in St.-Paul, NB, responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and quality of clinical education experiences. This position manages clinical placements, maintains relationships with partner sites, and ensures compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards. The Director collaborates with faculty, staff, and external partners to align clinical experiences with program outcomes and student learning objectives. Daily responsibilities include monitoring clinical performance data, resolving operational issues, updating policies and procedures, and supporting students and preceptors in the clinical environment. The role also involves strategic planning to expand clinical opportunities, budgeting for clinical operations, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across relevant academic programs. Qualifications Demonstrated leadership experience in clinical or academic healthcare operations, with the ability to manage teams and complex workflows. Strong skills in program and project management, including planning, organizing, and optimizing clinical schedules and resources. Proficiency in building and maintaining partnerships with healthcare organizations, preceptors, and community stakeholders. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills for working with faculty, staff, students, and external partners. Ability to interpret and implement accreditation, regulatory, and institutional policies within clinical education settings. Experience using data and metrics for decision-making, quality improvement, and reporting on clinical outcomes. Master’s degree in a healthcare-related field, education, or administration; a clinical professional credential and prior teaching or academic experience are preferred.
