*Job Title: *Line Cook *Job Summary* * Seasons and cooks food according to recipes and food safety standards. * Ensures freshness of food and ingredients by checking their quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock. * Inspects and cleans food preparation and serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices. * Observes and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently. * Washes, peels, cuts, and seeds fruits and vegetables to prepare them for consumption. * Cleans and maintains kitchen work areas, restaurant equipment, and utensils. * Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans by hand or using dishwashers. * Performs other related duties as needed. *Job Qualifications* * Cooking Experience: 1 year or more(preferred) * Food Safety/Handler Certification (NS) *Skills* * Excellent verbal and written communication * Enthusiastic and positive attitude * Active listening * Passionate about food * Flexible availability on weekends and week days as well.
