RELIABILITY TECHNICIAN (VIBRATION ANALYSIS) Come join the largest supplier of automation and reliability solutions in our region. Join us Under the supervision of the Operations Supervisor and as an integral part of a maintenance team, the technician will be responsible for carrying out vibration and predictive monitoring, analyzing data and drawing up reports and recommendations. They will be interacting on a regular basis with our customers to help them avoid unplanned shutdowns. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE * Perform vibration, thermographic and ultrasonic measurements on industrial equipment. * Perform oil collections for condition analysis. * Perform data analysis using software and document the results. * Develop reports and make technical recommendations and interact with clients. * Perform precision corrective work including dynamic balancing, laser and geometric alignment in industrial plants. * Work on implementation programs and improvement of plant reliability (lubrication program and optimization of preventive maintenance). ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL * DEP or DEC in mechanical engineering or industrial maintenance * Experience is an asset but not mandatory * Ability to demonstrate expertise in the clients’ best interest. * Professional attitude, ease in communicating with people, autonomy and initiative * Communication skills, written and verbal, in French * Written and verbal communication skills in English would be considered an asset * Able to write concise and meaningful reports that ensure understanding of recommendations * Available to travel within Eastern Canada * Computer skills, Windows & MS Office environment WORK LOCATION: Central Quebec – Travelling required ABOUT US Laurentide’s purpose is To Help Industry Thrive in Eastern Canada.
