Water Operations Supervisor

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY * Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of site water treatment systems, ensuring they run safely and meet regulatory requirements. * Identify opportunities to improve performance, reduce downtime, and keep systems operating efficiently. * Track and review system performance data to support ongoing improvements. * Provide hands-on leadership and support to the Water Treatment team. * Ensure the team is trained, following safety standards, and prepared to respond to any operational issues. * Work closely with other departments and manage resources, budgets, and reporting to keep operations running smoothly. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. * 5+ years of experience in water treatment operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. * In-depth knowledge of water treatment processes, equipment, and regulatory requirements. * Experience in the mining or natural resource industry is an asset. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & SKILLS * Strong leadership skills with the ability to support, coach, and develop team members. * Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in day-to-day operations. * Experience working with water treatment systems and related software/tools. * Good understanding of environmental regulations and safety requirements. * Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities. Specifically for the Water Operations Supervisor, we offer an annual base salary range of $100,00.00 - $120,000.00, along with a variety of bonuses.
