Located in North York, Black Creek Area Licensed Crown Reach Operator - Night Shift 11:30PM to 7AM Our Client has an immediate need for a Forklift Operator for Crown Reach and other Crown Forklifts. You are proficient in using a forklift and have at least 3 to 5 years' experience. We need people who can work full time on a Temporary to Permanent Basis. For this work we do not want associates who have another job as this is a strong health and safety concern due to fatigue at work. Visit coopersblackcreek.ca for more information or apply to the advertisement below: Overview We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator/Shipper/Receiver to join our client's warehouse team on a Temp to Perm basis. This position plays a vital role in ensuring efficient materials handling, accurate order fulfillment, and safe shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a Crown Reach Forklift in a safe and efficient matter and other heavy equipment, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and a strong understanding of safety protocols such as OSHA standards. This temporary to full-time role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on precision and safety. Responsibilities Operate various types of warehouse equipment including Crown Reach forklifts, to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently Perform order picking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to fulfill customer orders accurately Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including verifying shipments against documentation Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to OSHA safety standards Support warehouse distribution processes, including materials handling and inventory management Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and ensure compliance with safety regulations Requirements Requirements Qualifications At least 3 to 5 years Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or shipping & receiving roles using a Crown Reach. Valid certification for forklift operation; Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including pallet jacks, and other material handling machinery Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for order picking and inventory control Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA standards Excellent attention to detail with the ability to verify shipments accurately Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment This role is essential for maintaining the smooth flow of goods through our warehouse operations.
