Environmental Practice Leader – Calgary, Alberta About the Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen with a highly respected international engineering and environmental consulting firm seeking an experienced Environmental Practice Leader to lead and grow its Calgary environmental practice. This role is ideal for an accomplished technical environmental leader who has built a strong reputation delivering contaminated sites, remediation and brownfield redevelopment projects and has naturally progressed into leadership and business development. Build and grow a high-performing environmental practice. Recruit and develop exceptional environmental professionals. Strengthen key client relationships while expanding into new markets. Become a trusted senior leader with genuine influence over the firm's long-term success. For someone with ambition, vision and an entrepreneurial mindset, this isn't simply the next leadership position, it's an opportunity to build a lasting legacy within one of the industry's most respected consulting businesses. Key Responsibilities As Environmental Practice Leader, you will: Provide technical leadership across complex contaminated sites, remediation and brownfield redevelopment projects. Lead, mentor and develop an established environmental team. Drive business development by strengthening existing client relationships and winning new work. Manage project delivery, quality, profitability and overall practice performance. Recruit and develop future environmental leaders. A strong technical background in contaminated sites, remediation and brownfield redevelopment. Experience supporting land development projects through environmental investigation, remediation and regulatory closure (preferred) A proven track record as a seller-doer, with the ability to build trusted client relationships and generate new business.
