In this role, you will partner with Millwrights and fellow Electricians to support the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced window and door manufacturing facility.This position is responsible for maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting a variety of plant equipment. You’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by diagnosing electrical issues while also assisting with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems when needed.Rate of pay: $36 - $41.5Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain, install, and dismantle machinery and equipment in line with operational requirementsTroubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issuesRespond to equipment breakdowns and support timely resolutionPerform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipmentRead and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine proper proceduresEnsure all work complies with safety regulations, codes, and company standardsIdentify potential hazards and contribute to a safe working environmentSupport and guide apprentices as required to ensure successful task completionQualificationsLicensed 309A or 442A Electrician, or apprentices with level 2 and aboveStrong communication skills (written, verbal, and electronic)Working knowledge of CMMS work order systemsPositive attitude with a strong work ethic and team mindsetProven reliability and strong attendance recordExperience in the fenestration industry is considered an assetFlexibility to support 24/7 operations and overtime as requiredAbility to lift up to 50 lbsWillingness to work in an environment requiring PPE (safety boots, glasses, etc.)Awareness of hazards associated with the electrical tradeAdditional InformationCornerstone Building Brands Canada is committed to an inclusive, equitable, and accessible workplace. Maintain, install, and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems within a window and door manufacturing facility. Perform preventative maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns to ensure smooth operational flow.

Requires a 309A or 442A Electrician license or an apprentice at level 2 or above. Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs and be flexible to support 24/7 rotating shift operations.
