Together, we help build strong communities while empowering our employees to make a meaningful impact, grow their careers, embrace change, and contribute to the continued success of a stable, customer-focused organization.Job DescriptionReporting to the Receiving Supervisor, the Material Handler 2 is responsible for accurate & timely material delivery to production lines and day-to-day receiving department activities, while working closely with both shop floor and receiving department staff.RESPONSIBILITIES:Receive Packing slipsFulfill Kanban orders as requiredPick material and deliver all production boardsGenerate and fill transfersSlab pickingAluminum pickingPH tech pickingAccurate cycle countingCardboard recycling and golf cart drivingAssist in other areas as neededMaintain cleanliness of working areaDeliver product to various areas of the factory as requiredQualificationsValid Fork Lift license and previous experience required (1 year).Strong communication, customer service, basic mathematical, and organizational skills.Recognize unsafe conditions or hazards within the work area.Team player with a desire to get the job done correctly and on time.Flexible and willing to learn new functions within the receiving department.Ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated ability to accept a high degree of responsibility and work well under pressure.Computer skills are required.Ability to withstand very warm and very cold temperatures.Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a frequent basis and do basic foot to metric calculations.Previous Crane experience is an asset.Additional InformationThe ideal candidate takes pride in his/her work, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
