As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a Janitor to join our team in Port Alberni, BC. This full-time, onsite position offers the opportunity to build a rewarding, long-term career close to home while working as part of a collaborative local team at one of the Alberni Valley’s largest and fastest-growing employers. HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM: * Perform general cleaning of the building to maintain a clean and safe environment. * Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors. * Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms. * Collect and properly dispose of trash and waste materials. * Clean spills using appropriate equipment and procedures. * Perform minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks. * Monitor building condition and report major repair needs to management. * Maintain adequate stock of cleaning supplies. * Complete assigned tasks efficiently with minimal supervision. WHAT YOU’LL BRING: * Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs. * Ability to safely handle a variety of cleaning supplies and chemicals. * Experience performing general janitorial and cleaning duties. * Basic maintenance and repair skills. * Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment. * Strong attention to detail. * Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated. * Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks effectively. The janitor will perform general cleaning, sanitization, and waste disposal to maintain a safe building environment. They are also responsible for performing minor repairs and monitoring the building's condition.

Candidates must be able to lift at least 30 lbs and safely handle cleaning chemicals. Experience in janitorial duties and basic maintenance skills are required for this role.
