Slot Attendant

At Rim Rock Casino, we provide excellent service and experiences for our guests. Our Slot Attendants play a key role in creating an unforgettable experience while working alongside a dynamic team. We are looking for a casual/on call position in Port Alberni, BC, who can work both independently and collaboratively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. WHAT YOU’LL DO: * Demonstrate an ongoing ability to work by the gaming worker standards, covering Skill Requirements, Professionalism, Guest Services, Policies and Procedures, and Operating Procedures. * Maintain a clean, tidy, and pleasant environment for the customers to enjoy. * Create an enjoyable experience and environment for customers, through courteous, friendly and prompt service of customer needs. * Report on any unusual situations or activities to the Supervisor. * Follow safe work procedures and report any health and safety hazards to a supervisor or a Health and Safety Representative. * Handle and resolve problems as they occur with either customer complaints, or equipment problems. WHAT YOU’LL BRING: * Must be able to lift minimum of 30 lbs. * 1 year of Customer Service Experience. * Walk and stand for long periods of time as this position requires monitoring the full casino floor activities. The Slot Attendant is responsible for providing prompt and friendly service to guests while maintaining a clean and pleasant gaming environment. They must monitor casino floor activities, resolve equipment or customer issues, and report unusual activities to supervisors.

Candidates must have at least one year of customer service experience and the physical ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for long periods. Adherence to gaming worker standards and safety procedures is required.
