*Job Summary* We are seeking a reliable and hard working day time bottle sorter to join our team for the summer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently sorting products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. *Duties* * Sort refundable beverage containers by material type (plastic, aluminum, glass, etc.) * Assist with bagging, counting, and preparing materials for shipment * Perform light lifting tasks safely to handle materials and products during the sorting process * Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning equipment * Follow all health & safety protocols * Support customers or other team members as needed *Qualifications* * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety procedures * Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly * Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately * Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks involving lifting and moving heavy objects * Customer service is an asset * Class 5 BC Driver's Licence is an asset (not required) * Forklift Certification is an asset (not required) Pay: From $18.50 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * Discounted or free food * Extended health care * Flexible schedule * Life insurance * On-site parking * Vision care Location: * Courtenay, BC V9N 3P9 (required) Work Location: In person
