Résumé du poste

The mission of the Senior Analytics Engineer at Cozey As Senior Analytics Engineer reporting to Frank Joly, Director of Data Engineering, your mission is to build and grow Cozey's analytics engineering foundation, delivering the data models, pipelines, and frameworks that power business decisions across the organization. You'll help shape how data is structured, documented, and trusted, and you'll lean on modern AI tools to ship higher quality work faster, so every team can move with confidence. What you’ll be doing Design, build, and maintain scalable dbt data models that serve as a trusted source for key business metrics. Apply and help refine analytics engineering best practices: naming conventions, testing frameworks, documentation standards, and modular design patterns. Partner with business stakeholders to understand their processes, translating them into reliable, performant data assets that reflect how the business actually operates. Use AI-assisted tooling (e.g. Claude, Cursor, Copilot) to accelerate model development, write and review tests, generate documentation, and speed up debugging, while keeping a critical eye on quality and correctness. Contribute to the design and upkeep of Cozey's data warehouse (e.g. Snowflake), including schema design, access, and cost-aware querying. Identify and resolve data quality issues proactively, building automated testing and monitoring to keep pipelines reliable. Support the growth of teammates through code reviews and knowledge sharing, including good practices for using AI tools responsibly in the workflow. Help prioritize analytics infrastructure improvements, balancing technical debt against new capabilities. We’d love to hear from you if you have 4+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a closely related field. Solid hands-on experience with dbt core in a production environment, including macros, tests, and model documentation. Strong SQL skills and experience working with cloud data warehouses. Experience designing and implementing scalable dimensional data models. A working comfort with AI-assisted development tools, and good judgment about when to trust their output, when to verify it, and how to fold them into a reliable delivery process. Familiarity with ingestion tools (e.g. Fivetran, Airbyte, Funnel). Familiarity with orchestration tools (e.g. Step Functions, Airflow, Dagster). Comfort with Python for data pipeline tasks or analytics automation. Strong communication skills: you can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. A sense of ownership: you take initiatives from start to finish, not just contribute to them. We care about you You will receive a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefit package. Endless opportunities for personal and professional growth in a fast-growing start-up. A PTO policy that allows you the time you need to recharge. A role where your work directly influences the company's operations and growth. A workspace where everyone is welcomed, heard, and valued. Please note that we may use AI-powered tools to support parts of our hiring process, such as application screening and interview coordination. These tools help us focus our time where it matters most: getting to know candidates. All hiring decisions are made by people, and we’re committed to a fair and inclusive process.
