Requisition ID: 181747 POSITION SUMMARY Kiewit is currently seeking experienced Journeyperson Ironworkers for the Path2Zero project, located in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. POSITION REQUIREMENTS * Possession of a valid Journeyperson (JM) Structural Ironworker Ticket * Possession of a valid Fall Protection Ticket * Possession of a valid Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) Ticket * Previous experience of rigging, crane signaling, connecting structural steel and bolt tensioning * Minimum 5 years’ working on Industrial Sites COMPENSATION AND SHIFT DETAILS * Base wage: $52.00 per hour as per CLAC Collective Agreement * Nightshift: $3.00 per hour premium if working nights * $150 per working day LOA will be offered for night shift only for non local candidates * ITC Premium: $2.50 per hour on base hours (40 hours per week) * Vacation pay: 6% on base hours (40 hours per week) * Statutory holiday pay: 3.6% on base hours (40 hours per week) * Shifts run Monday to Thursday, 10 hours per day; Friday, 8 hours * Overtime and weekend work may be required ADDITIONAL INFORMATION * Candidates offered a position must successfully complete SureHire Drug, Alcohol, and 50lb Fitness to Work tests * No travel and living-out expenses provided * Due to the volume of applicants, only those meeting minimum qualifications will be contacted PROJECT INFORMATION The Path2Zero project is a major clean energy initiative supporting the decarbonization of industrial operations in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. Upon its completion in 2028, the facility will be Canada’s largest clean hydrogen production site and among the largest globally.
