Journalist | $75/hr Remote

Position: Reporters & Correspondents Type: Contract Compensation: $40 - $75/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week Role Responsibilities Analyze and synthesize information from public records, reports, and lengthy documents to distill key findings. Conduct rigorous source verification and fact-checking to ensure the accuracy and credibility of all content produced. Develop well-structured, non-opinion articles employing industry-standard narrative formats such as the lead and inverted pyramid. Craft concise, clear, and context-rich summaries or full-length articles based on provided document sets. Participate in iterative editorial reviews, incorporating feedback to enhance clarity, structure, and factual consistency. Document research methods and citation trails for transparency and future reference within the project. Requirements Have strong relevant experience in the domain of reporting or correspondent work at a recognized media outlet. Proven expertise in document-heavy beats such as investigative journalism, business, or science reporting. Demonstrated excellence in synthesizing large volumes of material into engaging, structured narratives. Track record of rigorous source validation, fact-checking, and verifiable reporting (not opinion or commentary). Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
