We are currently looking for lawyers in Alberta practicing in family law, civil litigation and estate litigation who are ready to join our dynamic and modern law firm. Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Representing clients on family law issues, including Divorce and Separation, Child Custody and Parenting, Spousal and Child Support, Property Division, Adult Interdependent Relationships, Guardianship, Alternative Dispute Resolution • Providing Independent Legal Advice and working with clients on flat rate agreements such as prenups, wills, cohabitation agreements or postnuptial agreements • Manage and maintain an active family law caseload with minimal supervision • Providing strategic legal guidance, attending court hearings and trials, negotiating settlements, and other legal duties as required • Prepare witnesses and examinations for hearing and trial • Maintain regular client communication and timely billing practices. • Issue monthly billings to clients and A/R collections • Drafting legal documents, conducting research, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and managing case files • Providing legal coaching services to clients Qualifications / Skills: • Law degree from an accredited post-secondary institution • A lawyer in good standing with the Law Society and licensed to practice in Alberta • One to four years of experience in family law, or estate litigation • Strong legal, analytical and courtroom skills • A solid understanding of billing procedures and practice • Effective communication and interpersonal skills • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively • Practices good client management and customer service skills Resumes and cover letters may be sent to careers@crossroadslaw.ca We thank all applicants for applying; only qualified candidates will be contacted.

Candidates must have a law degree from an accredited institution and be licensed to practice in Alberta. One to four years of experience in family law or estate litigation is required, along with strong legal and interpersonal skills.
