We’re looking for a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager specializing in tax compliance to lead and review complex corporate, personal, partnership, and trust engagements. In this role, you will oversee compliance mandates from planning to final filing, ensuring technical excellence, accuracy, and strong client service while mentoring and developing team members. You will be Accountable for: • Reviewing Canadian corporate, personal, partnership, and trust tax returns • Ensuring tax filings and related data are accurate, complete, and compliant • Managing complex compliance files and coordinating deadlines • Identifying tax compliance issues and developing practical solutions • Recognizing planning opportunities and recommending strategies to minimize tax exposure • Working closely with Partners and Managers on files involving complex tax structures • Managing, reviewing, and coaching senior and staff team members • Building and maintaining strong client relationships • Providing technical guidance and training to team members The Qualifications That Count: • 5+ years of relevant work experience in Canadian tax at a public accounting firm, specializing in tax compliance • Enrolled in or completion of the Master of Taxation program or CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Courses • Strong experience interpreting and applying Canadian tax legislation • Proficiency in tax research methods and databases • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and budgets • Strong leadership, mentoring, and organizational skills • Experience with CaseWare and Taxprep is an asset • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel You can count on us for: • Competitive compensation • Hybrid or remote work formula • Comprehensive health benefits supporting your overall well-being starting on day one of your employment • Generous vacation and 8 personal days for family matters • Firm-wide holiday closures so you can fully unplug • Summer Fridays with early office closures during the summer months • Reimbursement for parking or public transit • An annual wellness stipend to support physical and mental health • Home office stipend to ensure a comfortable and productive remote workspace • A vibrant, dog friendly office culture where connection and energy thrive.
