We have a great opportunity for an Advanced Repair Planner/Estimator to join our team at our Crown Autobody & Glass - West located at 3680 Portage Avenue. Crown Autobody & Glass is a state-of-the-art autobody shop with all updated modern European equipment, specializing in import brands. The Advanced Repair Planner, under the direction of the Manager of the assigned Collision Centre, is the primary liaison between MPI and the collision centre operations. The Advance Repair Planner is responsible for creating an exceptional experience by accurately estimating and blueprinting the vehicle repair. (Canadas leading corporate concierge discount service) Responsibilities: Dismantle and reassemble vehicles for accurate estimating, pre-wash vehicles if necessary Perform in depth, complete tear down to accurately access a vehicle damage Document all accident damages with a paint pen, photographs, and in depth descriptions Accurately estimate vehicle damage using MPI’s policies and procedures Capture all labor and parts operations using OEM repair procedures & MPI’s policies and procedures Collaborate with the production team, parts team, CSR’s, and MPI and proactively provide collision centre staff with updates on vehicles being estimated Estimate an average of 5 vehicles per day for internal as well as retail customers Ensure compliance with company policies and standards for cost control, quality, safety, completion and on-time delivery Requirements: Must have 2+ years of training or equal years of experience with autobody estimation ICAR Certified in Estimating (preferred) or interest in becoming certified Hands-on training/experience using Mitchell Connect and/or other industry standard software Ensures superior service is being executed and upheld on a consistent basis for both internal and external customers Balance a multitude of tasks; prioritizes duties as needed ensuring efficiency self-motivation/production Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and time management expertise Positively expresses and transmits information with consistency and clarity Ability to work individually as well as part of a team Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, bend and stand for long periods of time Valid driver’s license and ability to drive manual transmission CROWN AUTO GROUP is an equal opportunity employer! Exigences
Candidates must have at least 2 years of autobody estimation experience and a valid driver's license with the ability to drive manual transmissions. ICAR certification and proficiency with Mitchell Connect or similar industry software are preferred.
