Job description Reports to: Director of Corporate Marketing About CTGL CTGL (Computime Group Limited, listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange as 0320.HK) is a global leader in technology and an industrial portfolio company delivering smart solutions in energy, home, water, and healthcare. The company employs over 4,000 people across more than 25 locations worldwide and has annual revenue of approximately CAD 738 million for FY2025/26. With more than fifty years of expertise in designing and manufacturing intelligent control systems and IoT solutions, CTGL serves a broad range of brands, including engineering and manufacturing brands like Computime, ComtecNova, and Gaopudi (GPD), as well as professional and consumer brands such as Salus, Braeburn, and CPlusJ. Its growing digital footprint highlights its dedication to innovation, sustainability, and connecting people through intelligent technology. Role Purpose We are seeking a results-driven and creative Digital Marketing Manager to lead and execute the digital marketing strategy across the entire CTGL group of brands. This role owns all the Group's digital properties, including the corporate CTGL platform and the Computime, Salus, CPlusJ, Braeburn, Gaopudi (GPD) and ComtecNova brand websites, together with every associated social media channel. The role is pivotal in strengthening brand visibility across the portfolio, generating qualified leads, and deepening engagement with customers, partners, investors and stakeholders. The successful candidate will bring both strategic vision and the leadership capability to build a team and deliver through others in a fast-evolving, multi-brand technology business, taking ownership of building and leading the in-house marketing function alongside external agency partners. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Planning • Lead the development and execution of a unified marketing strategy across the CTGL group and all its brands, aligned to overall business and commercial objectives, delivering through the team and partners you oversee. • Set annual marketing plans for each brand, including channel mix, budget allocation, KPIs, and performance measurement frameworks, while maintaining a coherent group-level approach. • Track market trends, competitive activity, and emerging platforms to continuously evolve the Group's marketing approach across the portfolio. Team Leadership, Systems & Process • Build, structure and lead the in-house marketing function, hiring, developing and mentoring talent across the brands. • Establish the systems, processes and ways of working that allow marketing to scale across multiple brands and stakeholders. • Manage competing priorities and stakeholders across the portfolio, delivering programmes on time and on budget. • Own the marketing budget across brands, allocating people and resources to maximize collective impact and return. Multi-Brand Portfolio Management • Maintain a consistent yet distinct brand identity across CTGL, Computime, Salus, CPlusJ, Braeburn, Gaopudi (GPD), and ComtecNova, ensuring each brand appeals to its specific audience while supporting the overall Group story. • Balance and prioritize marketing activity, resources and budget across brands to maximize collective impact. • Customize messaging and positioning for corporate, investor, B2B, and consumer audiences targeted by each property. Content & Campaign Oversight • Develop a direct content strategy for web, social, email, and video by collaborating with in-house experts, agencies, and freelancers to execute it for each brand. • Manage comprehensive campaigns such as product launches, trade show promotions, corporate announcements, and thought leadership projects. • Set the direction for SEO, SEM, and generative search (GEO), while holding specialists and agencies accountable for results and ensuring the Group's brands are properly represented and visible in AI answer engines like Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Claude. Websites & Digital Channels • Manage the Group's online presence across all brand websites and microsites (CTGL, Computime, Salus, CPlusJ, Braeburn, Gaopudi (GPD), and ComtecNova), overseeing UX, content, and performance enhancements implemented by designers, developers, and agencies. • Own the social media strategy for the entire portfolio, including LinkedIn, WeChat, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms. Ensure a consistent brand voice. • Oversee the email marketing initiatives for each brand, such as newsletters, nurture sequences, and customer interactions. Analytics & Reporting • Establish the reporting and analytics framework, and ensure that the team and agencies monitor traffic, engagement, lead generation, and ROI across all brands. • Deliver regular, consolidated insights for each brand to senior leadership and suggest data-driven improvements. • Make sure dashboards and reports are set up with tools like Google Analytics 4, HubSpot, or similar platforms. Collaboration • Work closely with Sales, Product, R&D, and each business's leadership to ensure that marketing effectively supports the commercial pipeline. • Coordinate, oversee, and ensure quality in external agencies, freelancers, and content partners across various brands. • Champion marketing best practices internally and build capability across the team. Person Specification Essential Requirements • Proven project and programme management across multiple brands, business units or stakeholders, with a track record of delivering on time and on budget. • Experience building and leading marketing teams, and managing diverse internal and external resources including agencies, freelancers and specialists. • Experience setting up systems, processes and reporting frameworks within a marketing department. • 5+ years' experience in marketing, with at least 2 years at manager level. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English, with the ability to align diverse teams and priorities. • Strong working knowledge of the digital marketing landscape (SEO, paid, social, email, web and analytics, including generative search). • Commercially minded, with the ability to demonstrate marketing ROI and manage a budget. Desirable Requirements • Background in B2B technology, electronics, IoT, or manufacturing sectors. • Hands-on experience with SEO, paid search (Google Ads) and social media advertising. • Hands-on experience optimizing content for generative and AI-driven search (GEO/AEO). • Proficiency with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console. • Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar CRM and marketing automation platforms. • Familiarity with HTML/CSS and CMS platforms (WordPress or similar). • Experience with video content production and editing tools. • Knowledge of China digital channels including WeChat, Weibo, and Baidu SEO. • Proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin to support coordination with the Hong Kong head office. Core Competencies • Project Management: Delivery-focused and highly organized, managing multiple brands, stakeholders and priorities to deliver on time and on budget. • Leadership & Team Building: Builds, develops and leads a marketing team, delivering results through others rather than through personal execution. • Systems & Process: Sets up the systems, processes and reporting that allow a marketing function to scale across brands. • Stakeholder Management: Builds strong relationships and aligns diverse teams across functions, brands and cultures in a global business context. • Strategic Thinking: Translates group and brand-level business goals into effective marketing strategy with clear, measurable outcomes. • Commercial & Data Literacy: Interprets performance data across brands and connects marketing activity to commercial return. What We Offer • Competitive salary in the range of CAD 90,000 to CAD 110,000 based on experience, plus a performance-based bonus program. • Exposure to a globally operating, Hong Kong Stock Exchange-listed technology business and a diverse portfolio of brands. • Hybrid working model based in our Burnaby, BC office at Metrotown, directly across from the SkyTrain station. • Opportunities for professional development, international collaboration, and career progression. • A dynamic, innovative, and inclusive team culture.
