This is a full-time, permanent position supporting our Beachcomber Hot Tubs division. We proudly serve the East Kootenay region and represent industry-leading brands including Beachcomber Hot Tubs, Culligan Water, and Flaman Fitness. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to our customers. Position Overview The Hot Tub Technician is responsible for the delivery, installation, maintenance, and repair of hot tubs and related equipment. This role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. The successful candidate will ensure customers receive safe, reliable, and professional service. Key Responsibilities Deliver and install Beachcomber hot tubs and related equipment Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on hot tubs and spa systems Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and mechanical components Conduct water care consultations and provide product recommendations Open and close hot tubs seasonally for residential and commercial customers Ensure proper setup and operation of pumps, heaters, and filtration systems Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and documentation Educate customers on proper operation, maintenance, and water chemistry Maintain cleanliness and organization of service vehicles and tools Follow all safety protocols and company procedures Support showroom operations and assist with deliveries when required Other duties as required Qualifications Previous experience as a hot tub, pool, appliance, or service technician is an asset Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and water chemistry is preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record Comfortable using tablets or mobile devices for service documentation Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly Experience operating forklifts or delivery equipment is an asset Willingness to participate in manufacturer training and certification programs Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage (based on experience) Health, dental, and vision benefits available after 90 days Paid vacation in accordance with BC Employment Standards Company-provided workwear, tools, and vehicle (as applicable) Paid training and certification, including Beachcomber manufacturer training Opportunities for advancement within the company Employee discounts on company products Work Environment Based in Cranbrook, BC, serving the East Kootenay region Combination of in-field service calls, deliveries, and showroom support Physically active and hands-on role Occasional overtime during peak seasons This position is designated as safety-sensitive.
