The Carleton University Students Association is an incorporated, not-for-profit, student-run organization dedicated to enriching the undergraduate student experience through events, advocacy efforts, and services. POSITION DESCRIPTION Position Title: Roosters Student Supervisor Position Type: Internal Hiring Reports to: Roosters Manager Hourly rate: $20.51 Union: CUPE 1281 The Roosters student Supervisor will: 1. Be responsible to the Rooster’s Manager, Assistant Manager, and the CUSA executive. 2. Accept recognition, when the Manager is not present, as a person in charge of the operation 3. Report to the Rooster's Manager and/or Vice-President Finance 4. Assist the Rooster's Manager in the supervision of staff 5. Assist the Manager in receiving and maintaining stock and maintaining relations with suppliers 6. Assist in the preparations and planning of promotions 7. Work flexible shifts 8. Receive cash submissions from bar staff 9. Assist in the preparation of daily deposits 10. Maintain change supply for efficient operation The Successful Applicant shall possess the following: 1. Membership in the Carleton University Students' Association (i.e. be an undergraduate student at Carleton University). 2. Awareness and sensitivity to issues including, but not limited to: trans/bi/homophobia, sexism, racism, ableism, and ageism. 3. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively both within a group and when unsupervised.
