This Volunteer Placement is Located in: Lima, Peru Start Date: October 2026 Placement Length: 5 months Language Requirements: Spanish Please submit a Spanish Resume and Statement of Interest Eligibility: Open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada only The Volunteer’s Role This placement is an opportunity to use your business intelligence, CRM, database management, and data analysis skills to strengthen the Canada-Peru Chamber of Commerce in Lima. You will help improve information management, uncover growth opportunities, and support confident, data-driven decisions. Working with the partner team, you will research and classify prospective members and partners, build prioritized outreach lists, improve CRM data quality, and establish practical data-cleaning standards. You will also map relevant markets and stakeholders, support opportunity follow-up, and participate in trade shows, events, and institutional conferences. This role is ideal for a proactive, analytical, and organized professional who enjoys multicultural collaboration. You will expand your technical and leadership experience while supporting stronger Canada-Peru commercial, educational, and cultural connections and contributing to Cuso International’s inclusive development goals. As a volunteer, you will conduct the following activities: Initial CRM Data Review and Diagnostic: Conduct a structured review of the existing CRM database to identify duplicate records, incomplete entries, outdated contacts, and high-risk (invalid) email addresses. Support identification of potential members/associates: Prospect research and list building, initial classification based on defined criteria (sector, size, interest, location, etc.). Support identification of new opportunities for CPCC. Assist with information gathering on market/actors, initial mapping, and support for opportunity follow-up. Data Standardization and Segmentation: Apply consistent formats, naming conventions, and categorization (e.g., sector, stakeholder type, department relevance) to ensure usability across Memberships, Events & PR, and Business Development & Education. Basic Data Management Guidelines and Handover: Develop simple guidelines and provide orientation to the internal team to support ongoing data entry, maintenance, and CRM use. Essential Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Data Management, Marketing, Business and Entrepreneurship, Commerce or a related field Essential Background: Experience working with CRM systems, databases, or data management tools Experience in data cleaning, validation, and organization Experience using tools such as Microsoft Excel or similar for data analysis and management Experience in market research What’s in it for YOU? The advisor will optimize the Canada-Peru Chamber of Commerce's CRM database through data cleaning, standardization, and diagnostic reviews. They will also conduct market research to identify prospective members and develop data management guidelines for the internal team.

Candidates must hold an undergraduate degree in Business, Data Management, Marketing, or a related field. Essential experience includes working with CRM systems, data validation, and market research tools like Microsoft Excel.
