Electrician – Night Shift Dana is a global leader in the supply of highly engineered driveline, sealing, and thermal-management technologies that improve the efficiency and performance of vehicles with both conventional and alternative-energy powertrains. Serving the passenger vehicle and commercial truck markets, Dana provides original equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities worldwide. Position Summary Dana is currently seeking a licensed Industrial Electrician (309A or 442A) to join our Maintenance team on Night Shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment and facility systems in a fast-paced Tier 1 automotive environment. Compensation Starting Rate: $44.00 per hour Night Shift Premium: $0.55 per hour Technical Requirements Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing all aspects of machine electrical controls. Demonstrated competency troubleshooting PLCs, machine vision systems, barcode scanners, and robotics. Experience troubleshooting and repairing facility systems including HVAC, lighting, switchgear, and compressed air systems. Competent in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems including pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical drives. Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing motor controls including VFDs, AC servo drives and motors, and DC drives and motors. Demonstrated ability to work on electrical apparatus up to 600 volts AC. Key Responsibilities Respond to emergency breakdown calls and equipment failures in a timely manner. Utilize eMaint CMMS for work orders and parts management. Participate in equipment, automation, and safety training. Attend and actively participate in monthly Maintenance Toolbox meetings. Communicate critical equipment breakdowns to Maintenance Supervision. Perform all work in accordance with Dana's Health & Safety policies. Perform all work while adhering to Dana's Quality Policies. Work within the scope of your trade designation and area of expertise. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in a Tier 1 automotive parts manufacturing environment. Valid 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician or 442A Industrial Electrician Certificate of Qualification. Experience and training in industrial automation is considered an asset.
