Position Summary: The Ontario Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth across our service areas. This role combines field prospecting, outbound outreach, and consultative selling to deliver high-quality service solutions to foodservice establishments of all sizes. POSITION TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the restaurant, hospitality, grocery, and food production sectors Generate leads through cold calling, field canvassing, networking, and digital outreach Conduct on-site visits to evaluate customer needs and present service offerings Prepare and deliver proposals that highlight our collection, recycling, and environmental compliance services Manage and nurture a pipeline of prospective accounts using CRM tools Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction Represent the company professionally at industry events, trade shows, and networking activities REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 3-5 years' experience in an outside sales position with territory responsibility Experience selling services to restaurants or commercial facilities is a strong plus Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently Experience using CRM Knowledge of the used cooking oil, waste management, or sustainability industries is helpful but not required No restrictions on travel WE OFFER: Pay range: CA $75,000 - $85,000/annum plus company vehicle Life Insurance, Disability, Employee Assistance Program Flexible Health and Dental Benefit Plan Participation in Annual Incentive Plan Defined Contribution Pension Plan Educational Assistance Programs and, Scholarship Programs Darling International Canada Inc. is committed to a workforce that reflects the diversity of the communities where our facilities are located.
