JOB SUMMARY: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join our team. This role will be reporting into the Maintenance Supervisor. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all machinery operates smoothly and efficiently, minimizing downtime and increasing productivity. WE OFFER: $47.40 per hour plus shift premium and overtime after 40 hours Company Paid Benefits-Life Insurance, Disability, Employee Assistance Program Flexible Health and Dental Benefit Plan Defined Contribution Pension Plan Uniforms provided Safety shoe/boot program Educational Assistance Programs, Scholarship Programs, Apprenticeship Programs RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance Install, dismantle, and assemble machinery and equipment according to plans and Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, implement effective solutions Align and calibrate machinery and equipment using precision tools Fabricate required parts for installation Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and other team members to optimize performance Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities Work independently when required and as part of the team Other duties as required QUALIFICATIONS: Certified Millwright 433A ticket required Experience with screw conveyors, belt conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatics, pumps and machinery rebuilds Understanding of electrical components is an asset Experience with boiler systems would be an asset Darling is committed to a workforce that reflects the diversity of the communities where our facilities are located. The Millwright will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment. This includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and collaborating with team members to optimize machinery performance.

Candidates must have a Certified Millwright 433A ticket and experience with various machinery systems, including conveyors and hydraulic systems. Understanding of electrical components and experience with boiler systems are considered assets.
