Business Analyst / Quality Assurance Analyst

Dawn InfoTek Inc. is a professional IT consulting team that partners with major financial institutions, investment firms, and government sectors. We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Quality Assurance (BA/QA) professional to join our dynamic team and support one of our valued clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting business analysis activities while ensuring the quality of web applications and system integrations through comprehensive testing, API validation, data verification, and close collaboration with business and technology teams. The Business Analyst / Quality Assurance Analyst will play a key role in requirement analysis, end-to-end testing, API and database validation, stakeholder collaboration, and ensuring high-quality software delivery throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Perform end-to-end (E2E) testing for web applications and integrated systems. Analyze business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases. Validate data flow and perform data mapping between APIs, databases, and user interfaces. Test and verify REST API integrations using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools. Review and analyze JSON and XML request/response payloads for accuracy and completeness. Execute functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Perform database validation using SQL queries to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Identify, document, track, and retest defects through resolution. Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues. Participate in requirement reviews to ensure business requirements are complete, accurate, and testable. Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, defect reports, and testing documentation. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience working as a Business Analyst, Quality Assurance Analyst, or in a combined BA/QA role. Strong hands-on experience performing end-to-end (E2E) testing. Solid understanding of web application architecture and business workflows. Experience testing REST APIs using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools. Good understanding of API concepts, authentication, request/response structures, and HTTP status codes. Experience working with JSON and XML data formats. Strong data mapping skills between APIs, databases, and user interfaces. Experience validating data using SQL and relational databases. Ability to analyze business requirements and develop effective test scenarios and test cases. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Candidates need professional experience in BA/QA roles with strong skills in REST API testing using tools like Postman and SQL for data validation. Proficiency in analyzing business workflows and handling JSON/XML data formats is required.
