We're looking for a talented Controls Engineer to join our clients growing team in GTA, ON region. Pay - $100k-$120k/year + Other benefits Shift - Days Key Responsibilities:- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Bosch). Develop and integrate motion control systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and servo systems. Create, review, and update electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical. Implement, test, and maintain electrical safety systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Support installation, commissioning, and optimization of automated equipment. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and production teams to ensure seamless system integration. Provide technical support, training, and documentation for control systems. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability. Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in PLC and HMI programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Bosch). Strong knowledge of motion control systems, VFDs, and industrial automation. Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical for electrical schematics and panel layouts. Solid understanding of industrial electrical safety standards and practices. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
