Our Toronto based client is looking for Engineering Manager (Automation & Mechanical) for their facility. Pay - $130k-$150K Responsibilities As a key leader in our engineering department, you will oversee the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and processes critical to our manufacturing operations. Lead a team of mechanical engineers and technicians in designing, testing, and optimizing mechanical systems, including roll forming equipment and related machinery. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure engineering designs meet manufacturing requirements, quality standards, and production deadlines. Manage projects from concept through completion, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in roll forming technology to recommend innovative solutions and process improvements. Requirements Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master s degree preferred. Proven experience (5 years) in mechanical engineering within the roll forming industry or similar manufacturing environment. Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and familiarity with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools. Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
